(We've been out of WIFI/internet range for the last few days, hence these late entries. However, they were written at the time, so are pretty accurate accounts of what happened.)
Today we left Yulara, for the drive to Kings Canyon. Not too far a distance, but long enough (321 km).
We saw some wildlife along the way: four wild horse (brumbies) along the side of the road, and a dingo, which crossed the road in front of us.
Upon arrival at Kings Canyon Resort, we were advised, on signs and by staff, that at least one pack of dingos/wild dogs lived in the area. So we were not to leave food or food scraps lying around outside, otherwise the dingos/wild dogs would be there! The bathrooms have gates (to stop dingos getting in) and the rubbish bins are in cages (again, to stop dingos getting in).
After setting up Harvey, and getting Lisanne settled in her room, we headed for the pool, and spent several hours lazing in the water.

Later that evening, after dinner, a borreltje, and star-gazing, Mirne & Craig walked Lisanne to her room, and met a dingo along the way! He was quickly followed by another one. There's definitely a pack of them here!
