Just a quick entry to have keep you up to date on our movements even tho they have been both limited and covering a great distance all in one.

On Thursday 15th of December we jumped on the Sunlander train in Cairns and spent the next 31 hours chug-chug-chugging our way down to Brisbane. Felix the Ford is comfortably ensconced in the driveway of the Walmsley's whom we met in Cooktown and we are here until Thursday the 5th of January when we once again climb aboard for our LOOOOOONG train ride.

We are having a great time here on the Gold Coast catching up with family and friends and of course Jude is old enough to have really gotten into Christmas this year so although only Dad, Jude and I on the day it was still exciting because of Jude's enthusiasm.

The train trip was brilliant and I recommend it to everyone as a slow but sensational way to see some beautiful countryside but I also recommend a sleeper cos sitting in a chair all that way (especially at night) would be no fun at all. (Jude and I had a sleeper, it was very small but a bed is a bed and there is still the club lounge and the cafe to sit in during the day for some variety.)
