G'Day folks!

Today is the beginning of the end of my time here in Australia. I left the farm yesterday and it was really sad. I've grown very fond of the horses, the family and the everyday life out there, and I definitely want to come back and visit sometime. It was a really rewarding experience and I'm so grateful and happy that I got the chance to do something like that.

Right now I'm sitting in a hostel in Townsville, waiting for time to pass before I leave for the bus that's going to take me to Cairns. I'm really excited to get there as there are a lot of things that I'm doing while I'm there, but I'm also very tired since my body is still on farm time. I was in bed around nine last night, and woke up at six without an alarm. The point of that being, five hours of doing nothing on a bus is just what I need.

I promise I'll write some sort of story about my time on the farm that will be more about what I did during my time there, but I still need to process everything. Not because it was bad, but more because in many ways it was a dream come true, and I want this to show somehow.
