Hello world!

We're just waking up in Katoomba for the third morning in a row. It's been really cold compared to the rest of our trip, but we've still had a really good time here. We've hung out a bunch with our roommates, three guys from Holland, but today it is time to move on to new adventures. Not that it's been bad here, but since we don't have a job here, nor do we have tons of money to spend on the activities that are offered, so we will head back to Sydney at least until we get our credit cards.

Yesterday night we had a barbecue with the Dutch guys! Oh my it was so freaking good! We haven't been that full in a very long time, let me tell you. It was delicious, and amazing to eat something that wasn't ramen noodles. We also took a really nice mini hike on the morning, and one of our roommates, Tim, tagged along as our guide. The Blue mountains are breathtakingly beautiful!

In the evening we had to say goodbye to our new friends because they had to go to work early in the morning. That's something you get used to after a while as a backpacker I guess, saying goodbye.

To more cheerful news is that we scheduled a coffee with our French roommate Lucille from the Lord Wolseley hostel. It's going to be fun to hear about how she's doing in her new apartment and if she found a job yet. It feels like forever since we met her but it's barely a week ago. Time is weird when you live this kind of life.
