Today is our last day in Italy and decided on having a last shop in Stresa.

After morning tea at one of the cafes in Stresa Dee, Pat and I spent about 2 hours shopping. Our last opportunity to buy anything we needed. There were lots of beautiful things but due to weight limitations for our trip home on the plane I had to be selective. At least I got to have a better look at the shops as we took our time.

Meanwhile the boys had a walk on the waterfront and took photos of the speed boats that were in the car park. Half the car park had been fenced off for the 2014 UIM Skydive Dubai XCAT World Series which is taking place 20-22 June. No wonder we had trouble getting parking as they were taking all the room.

We returned back at the campsite and it looked like it was going to rain. We cleared the pergola and anything else that could get wet as we are leaving tomorrow. Better to pack it dry. Trevor, Paul, Dee and Pat decided that we needed to have our photos done with the banner that they had at the airport and the Dutch flag.

We must have looked like weirdos walking from the camper to the beach and me running with the Dutch flag. There are quite a few Dutch people there and they were very amused. However they did take photos for us so we would all be on them. It was all a bit of fun.

It will be sad to leave but we have all had a lot fun and relaxing time here.
