The picture is of Dauphin Island, Alabama, and yes, I stayed there. The Gulf Coast is as beautiful of a coast as I have seen.

As of today though, I will be cylcing somewhere between Cleveland, TX and College Station, TX. Along the way, I will be going through Cut and Shoot, Texas. For my non Texan friends, this means that I am just about done. IF I can make it to College Station today, then I will be back in Austin on Saturday.

This trip has been expensive as hell, but far better than I had hoped for. If you ever had any desire to do a long distance bicycling trip, then I am here to say, that if I can do it then anyone can. You just need time and "want to". Beyond that, just pray for good wind, good roads, and pay for good tires. As for me, I had almost none of these things.
