Considering that I have had no job and zero responsibilities I am not expecting any "pity parties" from anyone, but the last 2-3 months have not exactly been a "barrell of laughs" for me (hence the lack of blog entries). So with the inspiration of a couple of 70 plus year old Canadians, I have decided to shake things up a bit.

As of this Friday afternoon, I will be back in the good old USA, well Miami. The plan of the day is to purchase a bicycle (non-motorized variety) and pedal my fat butt all the way back (or as close as I can) to Texas by Christmas. Considering that I have never been a cyclist in my life, this will not be an easy thing, but then again, before this year I have never walked 500 plus miles (twice) either.

Stay tuned, it should provide for some interesting moments and hopefully a good blog entry or two.
