Day Eleven - our second day in Honolulu with an overnight last night

Honolulu, Hawaii Waikiki Beach is one of the most known beaches on the planet, this 2-mile stretch of white sand and calm turquoise blue ocean fringed by towering high-rises and boutique resorts is located on the South Shore of Oahu.

From Hilton Hawaiian Village on the west side to Kapi'olani Park in the east, Waikiki is defintely among the most popular travel destinations on the globe. Waikiki means spouting waters in Hawaiian, acknowledging the rivers and the springs that once flowed into the area.

Oahu is known as "the Gathering Place" and Waikiki Beach most certainly does this moniker justice.

A visit to the North Shore is in store for today. I think the bigger camera lens will be making an appearance today.

We always enjoy staying in overnight ports as we don't have to rush back to the ship.
