Jet lag hmmm!!! Was in Melbourne for the start of the next part of the tour, Melbourne to Adalaide. Staying in a single room within the hostel. All sections of the hostel are locked and you can only access your particular area. So I was unable to get to the others staying in a dorm on the next corridor .... anyway. It was another early start, 6.45am in the foyer. I slept really well and was awoken by commotion outside, looked at watch...7.10am!!!! I packed...

Arrived in Melbourne this afternoon. Mad couple of days. Was in Snowy River County yesterday... playing snowballs with the last of the winter season... Then in the afternoon drove around the national park and came across "5" yes "5" dead horses strewn across the road. Apparently, wild horses are prevalent in the park and it has been known for them to be shot from helicopters. Our guide, Craig thought that may have been the case but it was...

Had a really nice meal at Cockle Bay Wharf last night before trying to get some sleep prior to starting tour at 6.45am Definitely travelling in a bit more comfort. The bus is a shuttle bus and there are 12 of us (all girls again except for Eric, Synthia's husband). Only 3 of which are doing the whole 21 day tour. We have been to Canberra and visited Parliament House and are now in the Australian Alps at a resort called Thredbo. Really strange to see snowy mo...

Well I made it to Oz!!! A bit tired and very weird travelling 7 hours in the future. Lost a day on the way. Staying in a very busy but cool hostel in the middle of the city, called Base. Being picked up at 6.45am tomorrow for the start of my 21 day Sydney to Darwin trip. Really looking forward to it. I will be staying in hostels most of the time in Australia so should be able to get internet access fairly regularly for up-dates. Love to all xx
