I have been on tour now for 2 weeks. I am with 13 others. The group is really good, very nice travelling companions. We have done so much in the last 14 days. We have travelled to Nazca where we had the opportunity to take a flight over the mountains to see the wonderous Nazca Lines, huge drawings etched into the countyside and can only really be appreciated from the sky. Unfortunately, I was too ill to go. We have visited a sealion collony off the coast of Pisco where we also saw Penguins and Cormerants. We took a night bus to Arequipa Peru´s 2nd largest city after Lima, from here we went to Colca Canyon to begin our acclimatisation for the Inca Trail. From Ariquipa we travelled to Cusco by plane. This is the adrenaline capital of Peru, with supposidley the worlds 3rd or 4th highest bungey. I have decided that one bungey is enough for now. From here we travelled to Ollantaytambo, visiting the Sacred Valley where we were lucky enough to see Condor flying and more acclimatisation. Walking at altitude is really weird and affects people differently, some of us suffered headaches, some nausia and others like me just felt a bit drunk. We went to over 4000 m above sea level and it was amazing how difficult it was to walk at this height.
