ok first of all let me say sorry for the lack of photos its really hard to find computers that let you upload them and even when u can it takes ages, will try to sort it out at somepoint.

ok im now in laos which is kinda unexpected but its kl, been mostly just doing lots of travelling to get here but we've met some cool people, been hanging around mostly with 2 brits, 2 canadians and 2 germans, playing lots of card games and drinking games and the country is beautiful.

from the laos border we took a two day slow boat up the mekong to luang prabang, wich is really nice looking french town, with a stop overnight in a tiny place called pak beng. When our bus load got to the port with the slow boat it was already pretty full so all forty of us attempted a mass protest to try getting second boat, it didnt work! and we all caved in once we realised they were actually just gonna leave us but in the end it turned out to be fairly comfortableish. Got to pak beng about 8 at night and found out the electricity stops at 10 but it was cool and i managed to get the guesthouse owner to sew my trousers for me.

next day got the boat again pretty hungova which wasnt as nice. then arrived at luang prabang and somehow ended up bowling from midnight till 2 in the morning.

next day we were wondering around and me chris and one of the canadians ended up getting invited to a prewedding party in a bar by the river which was a laugh and one of the mothers tryed rather aggressively to get me married to her 13 yr old daughter and was aggressively pushing us together and wouldnt let me leave so i had to wait to she got distracted and we sneeked off which was a shame cause everyone else was really friendly and gave us free beer.
