hey all!!

So since last time, we left Hervey Bay and travelled to...Airlie Beach!! I really like it here, almost as good as Surfers & good night life - which i have sampled a tad too much of!

Hervay Bay to Airlie took a long 13 hours on a bus - not cool!! We arrived to rain :( seems to be a theme going on everytime we leave and arrive somewhere it is raining! haha!! At least it's warm rain ;)!! Once arrived, checked in to The Beaches - its okay it has a pool and huggeeee bar which has good vibe to it :D! Live music mos tnights and then the DJ comes on !!

Our first night we went out to celebrate Marias Birthday, this was a goooo day/night!! We had carbonara for tea and the chocolate cake for after and waay too much drink! We partied with glowsticks and hooters (see facebook photos!). Our first alcoholic beverage was a jager bomb...and it all goes down hill from there on! We drank far too much and none of us remembers the entire evening - mines is very blurry after the 2nd bar! We all got in around 5am...some later than others haha! The next day we were all stil very drunk so off we went to check in for our Whitsunday trip and then i had the biggest fry up ever - 3 fried eggs, 2 sausages, 4 bits of bacon, tomatoes, onions, fried potatoes and toast! I didnt each much...and then i needed a lie down! After that we went to the lagoon - like a beach but pretend, its really nice :D - it has another name but I won't bother putting that in ;) i was in bed by 8.30pm, the end!

Thursday we went on our boat trip around the whitsundays. Our boat was called Powerplay - it was a dive boat and had a jacuzzi on it - loved it!! we were on this for 2 days/2 nights! Sleeping in the boat was an odd experience, very peaceful! We all went snorkelling, some went diving, i chose not to dive incase it b*****ed up my ears and i had no way of fixing them, but after snorkelling ive decided im going diving in Cairns :D Snorkelling was a-maze-ing on the great barrier reef - very surreal thats what i was doing!! We seen soo many fish, lovely coral - it really is blues/pink/oranges - not photoshop! Gutted i didnt see a turtle or nemo though :(!! BOOO i met Dori a fair few times though haha! If you are very still in the water the fish just come right up to you and try and get in your mask - well mines did! Oh and the outfit...HOT! Stinger suits and hoods haha - pics to follow...it was stinger season so we had no choice but to wear them - or die! I thought id be scared about being in the water what with all the sharks/blue bottles etc but once i was in was fine - don't even think about it! We went around all the little islands, was beautfiul and on the 2nd day we went to Whitehaven beach - prettiest beach i will ever see in my life!! Clearest, blue water and the whitest, soft sand! We had fun here, sunbathing, playing in the water and taking amazingly stupid pictures - again see facebook, i will email some though for those not on it :D!!

Really enjoyed the whitsundays, preffered this than Fraser Island (dont get me wrong this was just as good)! but the whitsundays was so relaxing - didnt have to do anythign we had cooks, they made our bed, the sailed the ship - all i had to do was dress myself hehe!!

Once back, we went to the lagoon again and chilled out and then went out to party - for a change!! Today is another hungover day, jill is on deaths door - ive never seen anyone look so hungover!! She is currently struggling with eating lettuce! Don't worry, im taking care of her - "The Hungover Expert"!!

Off to Townsville for one night tomo, only 4 hour bus journey and then the day after we are off to Magnetic Island to chill out on beaches and snorkel some more :) Will be on Magnetic island for 3 days, not sure ill have phone signal so do not panic i am alive! After Magnetic Island we move to Mission Beach for another 3 days and here... WE ARE DOING A SKYDIVE!!!!!!!!!!! SO excited about it :D
