Allora, since I haven't written in a while I thought now would be a good time as I am tucked up in bed from the Flu but have just woken up and have a bit of energy:) Things are looking up! :)

The Aussies got here on Wednesday but I only got to see Chels and Lauren for a tiny bit before they had to go home with their hosts. So Wednesday was quite a normal afternoon, came home from school ate lunch with kikka and Giulia and so on.
Thursday I spent the second hour of the day in the welcome meeting and then I went back to normal classes. After school we came home and ate lunch as normal and then I showered and got ready as I wanted to go into the centre:) I rode my bike with the sun pouring down on my legs and my iPod playing happy songs, I parked at the tram stop and from their I took the tram into the centre. In the centre I bought Grom Icecream and sat and enjoyed the afternoon whilst eating it and then I did a little shopping and then I brought the tram and my bike back home. We had dinner as normal and I spent the night relaxing:) !
Friday I left Francesca's class at the second hour and went on a little tour of Padova from one of the Italian teachers with the Aussie's, then we got an hour of spare time so we went to Kono Pizza and all enjoyed a Margheritta in the sun :) We then went back to school and I had to wait the last hour outside Fra's class because she had a Latin test(poor girl) After school Francesca went home to study but I went with Laura, Lauren, Macey, Steph a few others and their Italian hosts to eat in Prato Dale Vale.. It was a very nice afternoon and when it got to about 3pm we started walking into the centre to look in the shops:) We ate Gelati and chilled for a bit and then we all went our separate ways home.
Saturday, I got to go on the trip to Venice with the Aussie's.... In the morning we walked around with a tour guide and saw San Marco Square and the famous bridge and what not, then we got 50mins to explore on our own and get lunch. Laura and I stumbled across a pizza shop and got a slice each and then we spent the rest of the time looking in some shops before we had to get back to the meeting point. it was time for the Gondola ride and I was lucky enough to be able to come on this one with my friends so now I can say I have been to Venice 5 times and on a Gondola 3 times, I am one very lucky 17 year old :D ! After going through all the little cute canals and under the short bridges we got off, thanked our guide and hopped on our boat which took us to Murano. Even though I saw the glass blowing 2 years ago it still amazed me to watch it again! We had a look in the shop which is VERY expensive and then we got back on the boat to Burano. I had never seen Burano and I think it's probably the cutest thing I have ever seen, yes it is famous for lace but the shops and houses just look like little dolls houses and it is very cute! We shopped for a little bit and then sat down and shared a pizza between the four of us :) For some reason we all got the giggles and were in stupid moods and the coke probs didn't help so it was a very funny afternoon hahaha and one I'll never forget
