So I am very annoyed as my last blog disappeared! :(
but since the last one I posted :
- Loz stayed at my house and we ate pizza and mnm's and watched the tourist and played foozball with kikka and ale. The next morning we met at school with the Aussie's at 7 and heade off for a 3 hour drive to Piacenza. Us four girls sat on the back seat and chatted happily :) When we arrived we were paired with someone from the agricultural school in Piacenza, I was paired with a boy name Luca who I chatted happily with in Italian :) We visited the town and then the school which was pretty mint as it had a farm and a resteraunt, infact we ate a typical lunch from that region in the resteraunt, served by some students. It was very tasty. After lunch we went to an old castle which was pretty cool as people still lived in it. It was then time to say goodbye to our new friends! Facebook friend requesting got a work out that day! haha
Very strange saying goodbye to people you probably won't ever see again.
- The Sunday that the Aussie's spent here, I visited Verona with Laura, Mark and some others and their Italian hosts :) On the train in the morning we were literally pushed up against eachother for the whole hour from Padova to Venice, I don't even think that would have been legal in Australia. But it made things interesting haha. We saw Romeo and Giulietta's house and the mini coliseum and the famous bridge. Verona is simply beautiful :)
- We went with the Italians with school to a villa in the hills, was a nice day but they should've told us to wear hiking gear as the walk was extremely steep and slippery haha! but it made for some laughs!
- On the 3rd of October I said goodbye to my Australian friends.
- On Friday the 5th Francesca went to the cinema with her friends but I decided to go to the fish festival with Ale, Giulia and Gian as I figured I could see step up in Australia but I was never going to know what this fish festival was all about haha. Turns out it is a dinner of fish, in a tent but the company was great as was riding through Padova on the Motorino at night even though I wasn't feeling well.
- Saturday morning I stayed home from school because I wasn't well, so I tried to sleep off the sickness and in the afternoon I felt much better, so I went with Francesca to celebrate a friends eighteenth with an aperitivo and then to another 18th celebration where we ate pizza for dinner, followed by a shot to celebrate the 18th.
On Sunday Morning I went for anime ride as the sun was shining and it was hot and then in the afternoon I was not well, I think I has the flu as for the next week I stayed in bed.
- Friday Francesca had the day off school and I was feeling better so after lunch Giulia, Kikka and I drove to a little city called Este. I loved it, it was like walking through a dolls village :)
- Sunday: We had a roast lunch as a family and then Gian and Giulia took me to visit to two small beautiful medieval cities that still have the old city walls. The names I forget but will ask Gian or Giulia when they are home. They were very nice to see and in the first one we visited the whole city has access to free wifi as the owner of diesel (the jeans brand) lives here and bought it as a present to the city, haha yes he is extremely rich! In the same city there is a giant chess board where twice a year they hold a real life chess game with real horses and men. Very cool! The second city has a beautiful bridge and waterway a bit like the famous Ponte Vecchio in Florence.
- The next week was school as normal ending with an "assembly" for the new leaders which in this school they hire a hall for and teachers dont attend, it did get a bit heated, especially when they brought up smoking. That Friday afternoon we ate tramanzini in the centre with Alessandro for lunch. which was nice, a little brotherly sisterly outing!
- saturday the 20th: Kikka and I ate on a pub in the centre where they have a smoking room which was strange, you could say the place was very relaxed. We then went to the cinema and saw a film that i understood everything! YAY
- that sunday we went to Moderna, Emilia for a family lunch with 100 people in a resteraunt. We ate typical dishes from Emilia which were delicious!

- On Monday we had Family dinner with giulias side of the family, had the best pasta and best cake I've ever tasted, chatted with ale, kikka and their cousins, lovely people, also Nonna.

- Thursday the 25th; went and ate Nutella pizza with the girls after having ordered pizza at home
- Friday the 26th; ate home made pizza at martina's and then cake
- Saturday 27th: After lunch we went to the hills where we bathed in hot springs which was very nice and relaxing. In the evening everyone was out so Kikka and I had everyone over for pasta and movies and then we went into the centre and had nutella crepes :)

This week we only had Monday - Wednesday of school Because of 'the day of the saints' (Halloween) so last night (Wednesday) we went to a club and celebrated;) haha and today we are sleeping:) Tomorrow Gian, Giulia, Fra and CC (a family friend) and I are all going to Milan :D
