We woke up to an even worse weather than yesterday. The today's rain made yesterday's rain looked like a pussycat in the comparison but we were determined to not let the rain to ruin our experience so we went to Bondi Beach.
Soon as we arrived (By the bus). The view were amazing, a long stretch of sand accodmated by absolutely giant rolling waves that looked like someone pushed up the wave-o-meter on my local swimming pool up to the maximum. I could see why it is surfers' paradise. Of course, there were nobody swimming/surfing apart from a man who I assumed just did a runner from the mental hospital running along the beach in his underwear.
We even saw a swimming pool right next to the beach which the water is actually supplied by the huge rolling waves which is really awesome but looked really freezing at the same time.
We wandered down to the beach (We took photos at first but I just realised that I would inevitably type this sentence every time we visited a landmark and it would be obvious that we will take pictures so I won't type this sentence anymore)
So we got on the beach and larked about, writing names in sand with our now upgraded umbrellas (Our cheap umbrellas were defeated soundly by the rain) by this time rain had amazingly stopped- A miracle on par with Jesus rising from the dead in my books.
We then visited the shops and local foodies. The fish and chip shop were so different to back home because they also stocked the likes of prawns and had their fishes on the display on the ice.
We then browsed in several shops and annoyed the owners by not buying anything expect for a hoodie purchased by Dominic that made him look at home with our homeless friends at our hostel.
We originally planned to visit Manly Beach after Bondi but it was winter so it was dark by time we finished looking around so the boys headed to Olympic Stadium where we wanted to buy the tickets for a rugby friendly between South Africa and Australia but the ticket office said the tickets will be sale tomorrow so we went back to the hostel which the highlight of the evening were scrubbing a pot filled with the dried chicken.
