Day 21: Seaworld
As it was our last day in Florida, we decided to use it to pick up pieces we have left off over last few previous days. I caught up with my video editing while couple of others went off for a breakfast buffet as I was never a big eater in mornings. We all then went to Seaworld to finish off remaining rides as well having a last go on our favourite rides.
We also caught a killer whale show, it was very enjoyable and like all other shows in Seaworld, it has a comedic element to it especially when killer whales splashed us all and followed it up by waggling its massive tongue at us all! It was also awesome to see them in their full glory and it was very intimidating to see their sheer physique and power.
A last round of rides and fizzy drinks followed the show where at this point I made a vow to never drink fizzy drinks at least for rest of this trip, We prepared for our departure and had a quick dinner at Subway with Sara while others had Chinese which I declined as there is no Chinese natives in the deserted restaurant. My mum once told me never to walk in a Chinese restaurant with no Chinese natives as it might meant the food is rubbish that even natives turned it down. Others said the food is not very good so thanks Mum!
We all had a short drive to Dayonta Beach where we all stocked up for the next few days. It was at this point where I started to notice subtle differences in each Wal-Mart. In Panama City, they have lot of tie dyes products. In Dayonta Beach, there are advertisements and products of Indy 300 which is a famous race held in Dayonta Beach annually. In Miami, they had a huge electronic goods section which perhaps reflects the city's wealth.
We struggled to find somewhere to park for a while then we eventually found a rest stop for truckers however they all were full so we had to park on yellow lines and hope for the best. It was a scary drive around the huge concourse which Lucy reminded me of a horror film called Roadkill which was about a killer truck driver!
