DaLat has it's own climate as it's in the highlands - was pretty to good to be able to cool down! Went canyoning for the day - abseiling down waterfalls (upto 25 meters high), free jumping from 11 meters, sliding down the rapids floating down the river and trekking through the forests. Stayed in a resort called Mui Ne Hills - It had 3 swimming pools, a huge room and overlooked the beach. The wind was strong on the beach, it was nice to be able to cool down! Ho Chi Minh City is busy!! Motorbikes everywhere. From the bus station it was a causal 45 minute stroll in rush hour with all our bags. It still makes me laugh seeing a family of 5 on one motorbike. Our hostel was in district 1, just off Bui Vien street - perfect for bars, clubs and food. The bus journey from Cambodia to Vietnam was again 'interesting'. Rather than the advertised 6 hours, it took 10, with a lack of air conditioning. The minibus was packed, there were even people sat on small child stools in the aisle, bad times.
