So after falling asleep at 6pm on wednesday evening we set off bright and early for the skytower thursday morning which we enjoyed. Then after a series of phone calls we set out on the number 50 bus in search of alan and jeans house (kts relatives) situated in the suburb of howick! We then spent the afternoon at their house and then off to Claire and Bretts house, who lived not far from there.

Today we walked in the glorious sunshine around the harbour/shops but being good friday nothing was open. However Katie saw some people eating noodles out of a box like the americans do, so might have to be on the look out for a takeaway so she can experience the joy of eating noodles out of a box like in Friends, very exciting!!!

We leave Auckland tomorrow morning to a place called mercury bay on the kiwi experience bus.
