had a couple of sleepless nights in that stupid 12bed dorm in hobart to be greeted by our lovely double room with tv in melbourne! now that was nice. except from being next door to the lift which was noisy throught the night, but you cant have everything.

we had a turbulent flight from hobart because of the strong winds, but the pilots did a good job. the plane was full of fire fighters off to help with the bush fires. they are still burning! you cant even imagine it really.

we went to collect my boots that i had bought but couldnt find the shop, haha, that was actually a gud thing though because we stumbled accross a lush sweet shop called suga and they were making peppermint humbugs the old fashioned way like beamish..with free samples when they were wtill warm and everything, it beat the cadbury factory hands down. the weather was unbleiveabley windy that day and we got a text from the police about the fires.

the next day we met up again with matty our melbournian friend who took us to the casino and it was massive, the weather was miserable again, raining and cold - about 15, which is cold for what we've been used to, but supose its preparing us for the uk. it was nice to see matty again though and i got a free large fries by mistake at macdonalds so it was a happy day.

yesterday and today we spent at victoria market, it was actually really quite gud and cheap, so we came out of that looking like australia had sicked up on us both. we have had alot of time to kill today (hence updating the blog) as our flight doesnt leave til 8:30pm so we went back down to the market and looked at all the puppies in the pet shop - they were lush, and some were still too small to be bought yet, aww.

cant wait to get home, and me and jonny have been ded exited all day, yey.
