today we were supposed to go to wilsons promontary on the way to melbourne but it got set on fire and we had to do a huge detour to get to melbourne ok. its a shame we missed it but at least we were safe. the air in melbourne was really smokey because of the fires, but it made a lush red sunset.

we met up with the people from the bus and everyone turned up on the beach for a relax and we had nice meal together. it was a really good night.

the next day we just went on a wander around melbourne dodging the tram ticket checkers haha, they are so confusing!! it was valentines day and about 7 of us from the bus met at our hostel and me and jonny cooked spag bol for everyone and we had a really good night again, even if we did drink a bit much goon (cheap wine from a box) haha.

the yha in melbourne is lush, got really lush showers etc and a nice social area.

the next day was spent finding real ugg boots for our friend paul to buy his sister, we went for a chinese and had a wander around again. we found some lush shopping malls and i was naughty and bought a pair of boots (which are lush) hehe.

next day was an early start to catch our flight to hobart.
