Hellooo, we left the island of Ko Tao on the ferry, we had to go all the way back in the same direction to Surathani meaning changing ferries at ko phangan and ko samui.I was originally going to go to ko samui but I was told it was so touristy it had a burger king and there were lots of expensive resorts there so I gave it a miss. We got back to s***ty Surathani the same place where we arrived off the train but this time we ported at a different place, anyway we got a coach to a tourist office and arranged to get a coach to Phuket, after another two random drop offs we got on our coach "mini van" and began our uncomfortable four hourjourney to the Andaman sea. We stupidly got in the van first which meant we were at the back, my legs were crushed against the next seat in front, the air con was right at the front of the van so the people at the front started to turn it down because they were getting too cold while we were fooking melting! So I cracked, and demanded to sit in the front which was pretty cozy.

We arrived at night in the phuket dropping a few backpackers of in the town centre, we were told by the couple who we did our open water dive course with to go to the sea front which was called summet like patlong beach, so we took their advise thank god because the town centre looked like gibbet street. We got to the beach front and checked into a hotel which we paid for in advance at one of the tourist places. It was pretty good for the price so we stayed there a few nights.

We checked out phuket, it was nothing special, just a s*** load of old white men with their thai wives and loads of empty bars, there looked to be some nice resorts, but I missed the beach and the beach here had a surf and the water wasn't clear enough!! We decided to get our hair cut, I took the bullet and went first. The whole time I was like "not short no short cut with the scissors not the shaver" she more or less took it all off worse than my LA hair cut!!! I told them in Singapore they give you a massage n stuff when they cut your hair so I managed to get one for their trouble.My mate then got his hair cut after me, nice and long! Perfect lol! I left the salon with the hottest hair in the world and went to the nearest bar and had some beers. That night we walked along the sea front and came across a rock n roll club, "wow" I thought, the other two wanted to go in and watch the live band which was a kiss support band "wow" lol they were alright if you like that kinda stuff. I was shattered and I felt abit ill so I went back to the hotel and slept.

The following day we went to another tourist office and sorted out a ticket to Koh Phi Phi, I tried to get through to Quantas airways but I was on hold for too long and it was costing a bomb, we got the ferry sorted, so on we went to Phi Phi!

Phi Phi was something else, as we arrived on the ferry you could tell it was special. It had weird looking mountain cliff fronts piercing into the water, the water was so clear and full of little fish. Its too bad it was full of backpackers like everywhere else in the main parts of Thailand. It was another party island filled full of bars perfect for the core four, but not for the other two. It had a nice lay out, windy little streets with bars and restaurants on either side. The main beach on phi phi was nice I guess, full of people, a little litter here and there. The temperature was roasting and our little guest house we were staying at had only one fan and you couldn't really escape from the heat unless you went into one of the million seven elevens in Thailand with the strongest air cons in the world.

It was an ok little room for dirt cheap, it was called uphill cottage. It was a little out of the way, to get there you just had to walk down the same dirt road for a while, this was where most of the cheaper places to stay were.

We filled our days just chilling out laying in the sun a few days not as much as I would have liked but it was way too hot. We then decided to go on another diving trip which was brilliant. They call them fun dives when you're a qualified diver so all you do is look at stuff in the water. We did our 2 dives around the island where the beach was filmed, the cliffs on the side looked amazing. The beach itself didn't look too cracking it was full of boats and people. The best thing about diving is when you look at the water from the boat and yeah it looked clear but you cant see much because it's so deep and you think the visibility isn't going to be too cracking. And then as soon as you dip you mask in the water you can see the bottom and all the coral and fish!!!!! We saw so many different kinds of fish, a few turtles and another reef shark. After the first few dives we started diving off the boat into the water which is ace, got some good pics as you'll see. At the end of the dive I had the worst headache ever, I didn't know what was wrong. So I rushed back to my room and jumped in the cold shower and lay down for a bit. That night I was fine I went to a bar and watched a film with the boys.

That night I couldn't really sleep I was so ill and hot, I threw a up a few times, and the day after I stayed in bed all day feeling like s***. We were going to go on a trip to see Maya bay where the beach was filmed but we weren't too bothered after seeing it from our boat and I was feeling well enough to do anything. The day after I was able enough to get on the ferry and head towards Krabi where I was going to stay until I went up to Bangkok.
