We haven't written in a while so I thought I'd just cover the rest of israel in one entry.
We celebrated Shaun's 19the birthday in a very relaxed fashion with dinner out with Hilton, Rosemary and Yael Licht (Shaun's cousins) and then a trip to Max Brenner in the port of Tel Aviv which was delectable as ever.
We spent the next couple of days just hanging out in Tel Aviv and enjoying the Israeli summer on the beach and the surrounding streets.
It was well and truly time for me to see my mishpocha so we hopped on an early morning bus to Tiberias were my Saba Alter fetched us from the station taking us to the kibbutz. The Jordan Valley was sweltering. Both days we were there it was close to 40.
It was great to see my uncle Udi who I hadn't seen in many years and also to meet his kids Leah and Alon all of whom were over from Scotland.
We did alot of lazing about and swimming in the kibbutz pool and on the last day we went to the local cinema to have a look around the projection room with my uncle Beeri.
We bussed back down to tel aviv and went out with my cousin Assah and his girlfriend Daniella to Molly Mook (a British themed pub) and had a good old catch up.
Next morning we caught the bus down to Ber Sheba to meet Carla, Avia, Lanna, Dayna and Eliza who have all been in Israel for the last 6 months. We met and had lunch at Aroma which was pretty swell.
That night we caught a late session of the last Harry Potter movie which was awesome but finished at about 1:30am and we had to get up at 4:00am for our flight to Athens. Our time in israel was fleeting but fun and we were eager to get to Greece to meet more of our friends.
