After such a relaxing time in Croatia we were rearing to go when we touched down in Rome. After many "graci's" we managed to find our hotel for the night befoe we joined the tour. Allright so we are bunching up all of Croatia in one entry. After a dramatic flight from Rome to Dubrovnik in which we were forced to turn back to Rome 5 minutes before landing due to bad weather we arrived to Dubrovnik about an hour later. We arrived in Ios expecting it to be the same as Mykonos and to a certain level they were the same. Same little square houses. Same blue ocean. We got off the plane in Athens and rushed to the ferry port Rafina (about an hours bus away). We rushed so much that we didn't realize we actually had about 5 hours till the ferry and Rafina port isn't much more than the equivalent of a bus stop. We haven't written in a while so I thought I'd just cover the rest of israel in one entry. We celebrated Shaun's 19the birthday in a very relaxed fashion with dinner out with Hilton, Rosemary and Yael Licht (Shaun's cousins) and then a trip to Max Brenner in the port of Tel Aviv which was delectable as ever.
