Left Kanchanaburi aroud 11 and headed to Ayutthaya. After 4 hours and a bus change, we arrived in the former capital. We found a cheap guest house called Tony's place and went straight out on a boat trip. This lasted around 2 hours and we made three stops (2 temple's and 1 ruins). After taking many photo's we headed back to the guest house and found a little resteraunt opposite to eat in. We spent the evening in the guest house lobby with our new travelling buddies, a german lady and a thai guy. We had a right laugh and all got drunk on water!

The next day, we rented a couple of bikes to explore the area. We saw ruins, monuments, temples and a park, where there were water snakes! We saw elephants and Antonio bathed a baby one. We also saw a couple of pony's and Angie checked them over, they both seem well looked after. We rode over the bridges in the park on the way to the guest house and chilled for the rest of the day before catching the overnight bus to Chiang Mai.
