After a 27 hour journey from Koh Lanta we finally arrived in Koh Chang, famous for being the least developed tourist island in Thailand. We headed to an area called Bailan Bay, finding a cheap bungalow for the night just down the road from the Dusit Princess where we were booked in for Antonio's birthday. The next day we checked in at 8am to make the most of our one night in the five star resort! It was incredible but Angie was sick again (shock horror) and as it had been about five days without any improvement we went to the hospital on Antonio's birthday. One injection and £200 later, we returned to the hotel were we spent the day chilling with DVD's.
Later that day we went for a fancy meal in the posh hotel restaurant. Although it was beautiful, we did not know then that it would give Antonio food poisoning. 16 hours after the meal and after checking in to our next hotel Antonio experienced hell on earth for 32 hours! After begging Angie to find a gun and put him down for several hours she went to the pharmacy that identified that he had food poisoning. Once Antonio's food poisoning had gone we moved to another hotel where we stayed for the rest for the rest of our time in Koh Chang. The hotel was lovely and we fell in to holiday mode, doing nothing but lounging around for the next 7 days. The only exploring we did do was that of the restaurants, and we found a nice Irish place called Paddy Palms as well as an Italian, run by a group of Cambodian guys who were really friendly.
