We started the day off with a relaxing breakfast by the river, the closest we have tasted to a breakfast from home (they even had proper tea)! We then ventured in to the town of Yangshuo to visit the shops and markets in West street, where some of the locals in the shops helped improve our limited Chinese. The stalls were mostly the same, offering an array of hats, fans, "Ralph Lauren" shirts, "Kippling" handbags, oriental gifts, and more fans. We finally found a sun umbrella for me, as my pale complextion in the sun was blinding the towns people.
Lunch was taken at the China cafe which was recommended by the hotel, where tastey noodles were our choice for the day. Then to the Supermarket for water, Oreos (which don't taste the same) and my new favourite drink of coconut juice in a can! Just a short taxi ride back to the hotel to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Deborah Clements Pleased the breakfast is proving a winner and some tea! Don't think I would fancy setting up stall/shops like the one in the photo - would take forever ! Could do the relaxing and looking at the scenery!!
