Day 1-19/4/08

Bangkok Baby!!!! After an 11 hour flight, 20 minute taxi and a further 30 minute walk we arrive at our hotel gaging for a shower! It's baking and even the locals are saying it's too hot!! Jumped straight in the shower and headed out to Koh san road where we came across gullavers bar. First thing we see-- a competiton of "walk with a golf ball in you're ass stop and release into a glass" safe enough to say we wern't playin that game!! Next bar and we met up wit an Irish couple and a Yank, got in a cple of buckets of samsun and drank till late. D then came face to face with a rat which safe to say had her runnin back to the table in 5 secs flat!!! gd night and headed home.

Day 2 20/4/08-

Woke up late afta jet lag, and a large amount of alcohol consumption, and headed to see our first temple. Booked up our ticket to chang mai and headed for something to eat. Quite in the afternoon but things picked up as we headed off to PAT PONG which was a massive eye opener. Met a guy from LDN innit, who showed us a hip-hop bar/well a thai band covering some hip hop classics such as I wanna F$c* you which was well worth heading out jus too c that. Worked our way down the strip, and found out that anything you wanna see it they got ...ping pong, bottles fruit the lot!! Don't really wanna write wat happend as parents and young children will be reading!! So use your imagination. Also saw a Lady Boy, could tell as we could see it's Adams apple from the other end of the street, never the less I was a bit tetchy about carrying on walking for fear of what lurked further ahead. Night finished got a taxi back to hotel!!

Day 3 21/4/08

Got up early and got a tuk tuk for the day to show us round . Done the sightseeing saw temples and palaces. Got took to a jewllers and a tailors who showed us how they make everything diamonds, cashmere etc. But then tried to flog us everything, seriously they must have about 4 staff to 1 customer!!! Dragged D away before she ended up trying to persuade me to buy something! Back to the hotel for a dip and straight off to the thai boxing. There was a big championship fight and we got ringside. Sat nex to sum yanks and an aussie Who ended up swapping seats with D as the cockroaches started making an appearance. First fight the guy left on a stretcher!! Next up two 12/13 year olds max!! just went in swinging good fight and got the crowd going. Aussie bloke got up after this to get me a drink and havn't seen him since!! Wtached the rest of the matches and Went for some thai delacasy!! nIGHT END AND BACK TO HOTEL!!

Day 4 22/4/08

Chilled at the hotel for the most of the day and hit the pool, got a mini thai lesson from ou-ee (local). Headed into town and ended up drinkin samsun again. Met a guy and girl from wales, who had a loving for gavin and stacey. Hit lava club with them but we soon left as no1 in there. Went to the bar next door where we meet 2 sweedish guys and a belgian. Alot of beer drunk and a few conversations whilst watching Chelsea nick an away goal against liverpool!! strolled back about 4am. Off to chang mai tommorrow night (wednseday) 12 hour train trip!!!
