94- back on the coach heading towards to westport we stopped off at the lakes national park for a 45 minute walk in the forest where we ended up at a huge lake when it the weather took a turn for the worse and the heavens opened up!!! 93- After our first day we headed towards nelson where we made a brief stop off at the ferry port and where joined by a few more people who were making there way down from the north island.
