92- (friday) Up nice and early to catch the big green kiwi bus for our transfer to kaikoura. After jumpin on the bus we got introduced to the bus driver and was given a low down on what would happen on the bus etc.... After a nice little drive we arrived in kaikoura, which was a bit cold to say the least. We were given the (paying) option to go whale watching or go swimming with the dolphins in the sea.....given the weather we passed on both of them. Into our hostel and our room opened up onto a snowy mountain backdrop which was amazing. A little bit later we headed into "town" for a couple of drinks, and headed back to the hostel where we had a few jokes with the 4 irish girls we were sharing our room with about 1 of the girls all in one PJ's with a "complementary drop off hole" for the number 2!!!
