Day 107 - Got up early again, and with Anthony still drunk managed somwhow to get onto the bus! Got to Taupo with Ant still feeling pretty rough, and found out that there were no activities to be do at all due to the terrible weather! Had a little walk around and grabbed a MacDonalds (it would be rude not to as they are so cheap in NZ). Couldn't really go anyway because of the heavy rain, but saw the massive lake that was made from a mealted glacier. Grabbed a $5 chile con carne from the hostel and watched the All Blacks vs the Wallabies. The hostel's roof wasn't too secure in the TV area and was made from a piece of canvas and in the storm looked as if it could possibly be blown right off. Spent the rest of the night talking to the 2 girls in our room...an interesting conversation had about stereotypes!
