We arrived in at Sao Paulo airport at 5am and after grabbing our bags
decided to sleep like tramps on the airport floor until it was a bit
later so we could get the bus into the centre of town. To be fair the
floor was more comfortable the quite a few places we had to sleep this
holiday so I managed to drop off pretty easily. Mike didnt....ha ha
ha!!! Once we finally woke up about 8ish we went to get the worlds most
epensive bus into the centre of town on a journey that only took about
10 mins. I was so unimpressed with how epensive brazil is. Little did I
know we were about to be stung for 70 pounds for the bloody bus journey
to Foz do Iguazzu! After booking our tickets we headed out to this park
and in usual style when in a city we trekked for 2hrs with our
backpacks to a park, got lost and ended up at a shopping centre
instead. I was so sweaty and mike brushed his hand over my jumper and
was so disgusted with me he got his alcohol gel out. Im not quite sure
why he bothered as it would be another 24 hrs before we would be anywhere near a
shower. The bus journey was pretty uneventful. I slept, mike
didnt....ha ha ha.....its the theme of the trip!
