Today we rose at 7am after only a few hours sleep parked at a roadside diner just out of Granada. We drove into the city and up the hill to see the famous moorish citadel known as the Alhambra! It was a very busy morning and by the time we left at 2pm we were hot and exhausted. So we headed up into the mountains of the Sierra Nevada; the huge national park just out of Granada, where we found a huge gorge entirely deserted of people where we had a quick dip and a corona watching the setting sun!
