Hi everyone!

We arrived in Sydney last Friday morning after a 15 hour adventure on the overnight greyhound bus from Byron Bay...once again got very little sleep! On our first night here we stayed at Delux Hostel in Kings Cross - right in the heart of the red light district - lots of scary people about! The following morning we moved to Wake Up! which is in a much better location, right next to Central Station. Since then we have done a bit of sightseeing (Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, Manly Beach and the Blue Mountains) and lots of shopping!!! Well, the weather hasn't been too great so we had to find something to entertain ourselves with!!

Last Saturday we went to a Halloween party at the bar attached to Wake Up! (Side Bar). We spent all day looking for outfits and eventually, with very few resources available, Kate decided to go as a witch, Ray as a fairy and me as a butterfly. For some reason we decided it would be a good idea to back-comb our hair as much as possible???! See photos...

We're off to Melbourne this evening on the delighful greyhound bus...this trips ONLY 12 hours though...yippeeee. Should be going to the famous "Neighbours" night on Monday and then the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday. Will keep you posted...
