Hey all! Arrived in Singapore on Friday morning after an eventful journey on the sleeper train - we got NO sleep! Spent the day shopping along Orchard Rd, visited Raffles and then treated our tired feet to a pedicure - hardcore travellers!! Went for a lovely meal along trendy Clarke Quay in the evening. Met some friendly ex pats who took us to an exclusive party at an art gallery on Boat Quay. Spent Saturday recovering and doing a month's worth of laundry!! ...

Hi all! We have just arrived in the Cameron Highlands where we will be staying for the next 2 nights. Were originally hoping to go to the Perhentian Islands but unfortunately dont have the time (sorry Lucy!).. will be going on a 'Nature Discovery' Tour tomorrow, before heading back to KL on Thursday morning. Hi everyone! Just a quick note to let you all know we're ok - we've had lots of concerned text messages! We're still in Phi Phi - we were supposed to move on to Phuket yesterday but decided to delay our plans after hearing about the military coup. The only sign of 'military law' so far is closing times - everywhere shuts at midnight (bars, restaurants etc) so the island falls into silence! We will be up early tomorrow to get a boat over to Phuket, then...
