Hey everyone...hope you are all well...thanks for all your messages on here or through e mail. Sorry I have been so rubbish on updating you all...i've not had a minute...Australia has been totally crazy so far.

19th Jan arrived in Perth...had a bit of trouble at passport control and I didn't think they were going to let Vikki and I through because we didn't have an address of where we were staying!! after a flutter of the eye lashes the passport control man let us through....so we proceeded to baggage claim ...I had a banana in my bag...which I completely forgot about...these are forbidden through customs......just has we were entering customs I read a sign and it suddenly clicked I had this banana...so Vikki and I quickly shared it before we were arrested!! Now that would not have been funny!!

Adam (my friend we were staying with for 2 weeks) Picked us up from the airport...did a quick tour of the area and took us back to his. We were shattered after a very early flight....so that evening we chilled and had a BBQ Beers and back packers gathering. This wasn't just for Vikki and I...Adam had a house full staying. 2 French guys and a yankie.....good job I got in there first with asking to stay as we got the nice comfy Queen bed with en-suite while the boys were scattered on the floor down stairs!! It was nice to be welcomed by so many people though.

The next day we got up and 5 of us went for a run along the beach, then jumped in the sea fully clothed to cool down...god it's the life!! Adam lives right on the beach it was perfect!! After our LONG run and swim we came back showered and headed off to the city with Adam and Co for lunch and some shopping (Adam threw a sickie to show us around.)
In the evening we headed to Fremantle for WA's famous fish and chips and then bed..aching like hell!!

The next day Vikki and I got up headed to the beach for a swim and to chill out although we only paddled after hearing a story of a guy who was eaten by a great white the week before ...so no more swimming for Vikki and Anna...I didn't want him nibbling at my toes....the truth of it is .....If I was to see one I think I'd have a heart attack and die on the spot and am easy meat for the shark!! Don't ask how but in the couple of hours there I managed to burn my bum....and no it wasn't out on display for all to see....I wouldn't do that to my worse enemies. Lol that would be cruel putting them off their lunch! That day pretty much consisted of chilling...we headed to the supermarket with the boys ...we travelled in pure luxury...(look at the pictures when I upload them)..to put the shopping in the boot...you had to un-tape it...so funny...the looks we were getting I don't think i've laughed so much for ages! That evening it was the frenchies turn to cook dinner washed down with a few beers.

Perth pretty much consisted of eating and drinking!! That weekend we headed down South where we hired a huge country house in Dunsborough. Adam hired the speed boat from work and we took that and some water sports equipment with us. What a weekend....it was just awesome! Most of the weekend was spent out on the sea with my head constantly looking out for sharks thankfully it was very clear so visibility was good lol...I was petrified still though!! But I still did ski biscuiting (I big donut thing tied behind the boat)....I think that's why I ended up being the champ because I was determined I wasn't falling out to be eaten alive!! LOL...but god my bum and arms hurt so much the next day....bum...from the pounding water under you and my arms from clinging on!! This weekend was just full of laughs the whole time, Adam's friend Cam...is just the funniest!!
This house was where I saw my first huntsman and my god it was big....all the girls were screaming! Lol! Then after dinner that night...all ready looking everywhere I went for spiders or bugs and being totally paranoid....as I walked through to the kitchen from outside I happened to look up and see a spider the size of a mans hand...I just froze and screamed...I tried to tell everyone...but my words wouldn't come out...they all came running in...the lads we even like oh my ..that is the biggest spider I have ever seen...as you can imagine...girls being girls were running around screaming shouting at the boys not to miss it has they were throwing tennis balls at it to try and knock this thing down from the high beams.....after a good 10 minutes of commotion Cameron said OMG I think its a joke I think that things stuck up there because I just hit it direct with a tennis ball...I wouldn't let him give up as I was convinced it moved...of course it's leg moved because the body was stuck to the beam LOL as you can imagine it was the topic of our conversation for hours and the laughing hurt our faces!! It was a joke...a very good one...had us all going for 20 minutes or so!! The next morning as people got up...one by one we all went over to check the spider was still there and sure enough it was!!

Then Monday was Aussie day......which basically is just one big party...so we headed into Margaret River so we could have a quick look around grabbed some lunch and drove back. In the evening we headed to a BBQ and Pool party at Jo's (Adam's Girlfriend). Then walked down the road to join hundreds of other people watching the fireworks displays over Perth City.

In Perth we joined a gym too and because Jo's a nurse she had quite a few days off so we did loads with her like shopping, went to Caversham wild life park etc etc...just girly things really!! The night before we left Adam threw us a farewell back packer's party. Was a great evening...and a very drunken one to say the least...so drunk that I went paddling in the sea...that has sharks.... in my bra and knickers!!! Lol I didn't really have much choice as the boys were dragging me down the beach with me kicking punching and screaming...the girls came to my rescue and with that I took my watch off and my dress and jumped in on my own accord rather than being thrown in!!

Great time had by all and we were sad to be leaving...made some wicked friends there who have all invited us back. Another place hit by Wild Wicks. Onto Melbourne for some more fun!! Will write again soon. Lots of love. Miss you all.
