Anna's travels......
Left Queenstown at 7.45am this morning, another nice early rise, heading to Dunedin.
Got to Dunedin about 1am where we went straight onto the Elm Wildlife tour that took as to the Otago Peninsula and we got to see Albatross, Hooker Sealions, NZ Fur Seals and Yellow Eyed Penguins. Really good tour. Even though I slipped on the way down to the beach where we were seeing the Sealions, nearly broke my ankle, but got way with just a bruised and swollen ankle. Once on the beach we were able to walk by the seals, we were only about 6 meters aways from them. The baby ones looks so cute. And the penguins, these were my favorite, we saw them coming in from the sea waddling along up to their nest. They were sooooo cute. I wanted to take one home. It was great being up close to the animals, normally you just get to see these things from a distance.
Another early night tonight as off to Tekapo tomorrow.
