Day 88, 89 (6/6 - 7/6) From the hot springs, we took a bus to a town called Sandakan, which took about 4 hours. Main reason for coming here was to go to Sepilok to see the oragutan sanctuary. After reaching sandakan, we quickly found accommodation and then took a taxi to sepilok, in time for the orangutan feeding. Amazing! They were awesome. I just stood there watching them for like half an hour. And they were so funny. One even stole and ran/swung away with a bucket of bannanas, and after taking out one bunch, drops the bucket into the forest below. It was just fantastic to watch. The rest of the time in Sandakan was spent relaxing and watching movies.
