Day 79, 80 (27/05 - 28/05) Got to Melaka late afternoon of the 27th. This is a historical city. Got some nice buildings, and a shopping mall but thats about it. So explored the mall on the 27th and watched a movie that evening. And during the night was the loudest thunder storm i have ever heard. Constant flashes on lightning, followed immediately by BOOM. Was cool. Though our room got a little flooded. Water came through under the balcony door, and created a little river to the other side of the room. Luckily none of my stuff got wet, though Len's did..HaHa. This morning (28th) we went on a mountain bike tour of the countryside. Was fun. So loads of plantations, and all sorts of fruits and things. And rubber trees. Made a bouncy ball by peeling strips of rubber from the trees and wrapping it around a stone. Rubber is big business here. After lunch we just wandered around the town. Tomorrow of to Johor Bharu, for the night. There is nothing there to do, but just a place to sleep before we catch an early bus to Singapore.
