We had an action packed day today . Drove from Switzerland to France (266km) to get acquainted with Grenoble before tomorrows time trial. As we were checking in, the HTC Highroad technical team rolled up in the truck with all of the TT bikes. We spent a bit of time stalking them whilst they set up the bikes. More of the same as yesterday, except more rain!!! I hit my limit of cheese today ; gruyere on toast for breakfast , baguette with prosciutto , salad and buffalo mozzarella for lunch, then cheese fondue for dinner. One of the meat options with the fondue this evening was horse meat; more specifically , Australian horse meat. Eeeewwwww!!!! We are off to Grenoble , France tomorrow to settle in before le Tour de France comes to town for the time trial. Watch out ...

Not alot to say today, other than the Swiss alps are beautiful and their cheese is divine ! Food and accomm costs are more to our liking as well 

Another day, another border (or four! ). We left Germany, bound for Switzerland and drove through Austria and Liechtenstein to get there. We are still amazed how quickly you can get from one place to another ! I've had an interest in one of the smallest principalities in the world since I was a child, but after seeing that it is smaller than the main drag if Castle Hill I shall admit that Liechtenstein was underwhelming. Good coffee though! Next stop, Zurich. ...

Another day, another beautiful place. We are on Lake Constance which borders Germany, Austria and Switzerland. There are pear orchards everywhere and the lake is huge. We drove through lovely Fussen , past Neushwanstein Castle (inspiration for Disney) to Wasserburg. Tonight I had my first meal in 2 weeks without meat; there was some fried cheese though.
