Back in Delhi after a month learning about the Divine and understanding why we "suffer". I am armed with insights and knowledge I am hopeful to make good use of. Landed at about 4:30pm, 46 degrees celcius and in the middle of a huge dust storm. The dust is so thick we couldn't land for a while. The winds are high and outside the airport looked a bit like a war zone. There was debris and various sheets of metal, road barriers and luggage carts blown all over the roads. It's dark too, almost like dusk. Hopefully this will be over soon. You can't really go outside at all-I'm very thankful that I don't wear contact lenses anymore. It was bad enough with all the dust and stuff flying into my eyes as I left the airport. If I still wore contacts they would probably be in the garbage by now!
Thrilled to have A/C in my room. After about 20 days of extreme heat and no A/C, I'm loving it! I just had to put socks on because my feet were cold. Yippeee!!!!!!!!!!
