We would like to thank all our family, friends and colleagues for the kind gifts and well wishes, we have both been truly spoilt with appropriate gifts for our travels.

Last minute.com as per normal we have had a busy day doing the things we probably should have done weeks ago, but hey it wouldn't be us if we had done all our packing and organising before we actually needed to leave the house would it! You will all no doubt be REALLY shocked to know Nik made it to Morrisons before bursting into tears! Doh! En route you can't even begin to imagine what Nik had remembered she had forgotten but we soldiered on to the airport. Good old Ross made an excellent chauffeur, getting us there in plenty of time for drinks, munch and yes lots of tears. The drinks were definitely needed after having to re pack our bags to distribute our weight more evenly (all you guys were far too generous causing us a slight issue but we were not defeated!!)

P.s on the forgetting things note Nik forgot her new sim card but she will get it in a couple of weeks so will get any messages you have sent to her then and reply via txt, facebook, email or blog x

We had a good flight, well what we didn't sleep through, and the 10hours and 45mins flew by - ha ha! Joke intended. Within 2hours of landing we had successfully found our transfer, got checked in and mastered the underground in Bangkok - well with a little help from a friendly randomer who gave us a few tips. We found a happy hour serving Singha beer at about £1 a pint which Nik coped with slightly better than Ang but she tried it and made it a third of the way through!
