An early start definately proved the right choice as the queue was huge! Luckily we were nearer the front than the end so managed to get a good view. BONUS was when they gave out a limited number of wristbands for an even better view, right from the front! We managed to get some and I don't think our view could have been any better!!! Our pictures don't really do it justice but if any of you managed to see it on the tv times it by 100 and you'll be somewhere near...

We went on a free 3 hour walk around Sydney and got to see so much! We then got some supplies for new years eve and I made up our picnic while Ang met the others at the Moet bar, in the Sydney tower. Getting excited for tomorrow . . .

Our view as we arrived in Sydney . . . Was touch and go most the way with the bus struggling with its gears, but we made it! We met up with our friends Cath and Tash, and Caths friend Sara and enjoyed a walk and a few drinks in Darling Harbour.

Today we met up with Charlotte, who we met in Vietnam, and her friend and had a day wine tasting in the Hunter Valley! Well wine, olives and spreads, cheese, chocolate and more wine tasting! I would say we are pros but perhaps not that good! We really enjoyed today and made a few purchases that are to be drunk or posted home.....

Worse overnight bus to date-the greyhound was doing so well! As a result we had a lazy afternoon and when the rain stopped we enjoyed a Thai meal, as was only place open, and went to the cinema to watch Mission Impossible 4!
