This afternoon we have been tubbing - not sure thats spelt correctly, but it was where we had a tractor tyres inner tube and floated down the river, stopping at the bars on the way past. We both went on a huge slide into the river which was fun, and a little scary, especially when Nik shoty off the end with such speed all were a little concerned she was actually going to clear the river and land on the opposite river bank! Ang attempted the swing with Emma and well 10 out of 10 for effoet but not quite the visual spectuacular image us spectators were expecting lol. The fun soon ended when we left the busy-ness of the beginning of the route, and realsied how far we needed to paddle to get back! We can both say we didn't realise it was 3 km, and once we got cold and it started to get dark were a little fed up! But we mangaged it and as the 6pm deadline for getting our deposit loomed we kicked and paddled madly and got back just in time! Quite evening and we must have looked shattered as were given a 'happy' menu in a bar
