Just let it go
I didn't plan to write much for today but there is always a story!
Two couples from Sheffield were staying in the same hotel as us and had hired a minibus back to Bangkok. The hotel owner Dennis had arranged for us to go back with them for the same price as the public bus. That made the journey back more comfortable, and meant we stopped for a break.
I had booked a hotel close to the airport in Bangkok to make it easier to leave the next morning. The skytrain took us back to the airport after being dropped off near to the centre. We then had to navigate up through the airport to find the hotel shuttle. We got sent in the wrong direction a few times, before Tash found some people who could help. Not surprising that it took about 5 hours to get from Kanchanaburi to the airport hotel.
The hotel charged us for the return shuttle despite their website and flyers saying it was free - they used the excuse that our rate through Agoda (online booking) didn't include this. The room was also odd, the floors were just concrete, as if they had forgot to put carpet in. The feel of the room made me feel like we were staying in a bunker! The Internet connection was terrible (the last hotel in Bangkok was by the far the best we had, we were planning on booking and researching the next few weeks travel).
On going for dinner, the inflated prices were not such a surprise, and the Panang I had was nice, if not a bit small. What was quite difficult though was the restaurant had the theme tune from the Disney film Frozen playing on repeat! At least I have a secret weapon in my memory now if I am ever held hostage and have to sing karaoke to save my life. A better choice than baa baa black sheep anyway!

Annie Hilarious - not sure on you being hostage, Baa baa or frozen? Not sure if this is a good sign of you need to get to England?
