Kok-o-bang
Thankfully another uneventful journey into the airport for our domestic flight to Bangkok. Its the first time I've seen such a big plane (A330) used for such a small journey, it was quite full too, loaded up and pushing back from the gate within 10 minutes also.
It was a bit of a shock to the system being back in a developed city, having to contend with using public transport to get from the airport (We used the sky train, although apparently the express train has been broken for a whole year!). Then we over paid a tuk-tuk driver to take us to the hotel from the closest station (we have found that we do this a lot when we turn up somewhere new as we don't know what to pay and our bags are a gleaming target!). The flight took a hour, but it was another 3 hours before we were in the hotel room.
We had a very late lunch, but then decided to spent the evening planning the next few days travel. Dinner was a Shawarma as it was quick and only up the road.
