As I'm planning now to stay in Adelaide for a bit longer I thought I'd head up to Sydney to see a few people I met on my travels while I'm not working. Still waiting for my tax number to come through and had no luck working yet, so I thought head up while I've not got much on and I did! So I went for four days - Wednesday to Sat and had a really good time. The weather was good to start with and arriving I went to see Sydney Harbour and the Opera House and had a wander throught the city. It was like being back in London, only cleaner and by the sea! I stayed in a place called Mosman which is where one of the lads from my Chaing Mai trip is from! Then it rained a bit on the 1st day, but that was the end of the bad weather. The next day I went to Manly Beach, which is supposed to be better than Bondi and that was good - watched all the surfers from a pub balcony. Then on the Friday spent the day on the beach in Mosman, relaxing before heading out for a few Sydney drinks in the evening. I'll be heading back and spending more time there later in the year, but nice to have a little taster of the place!
