After breakfast we left our homestay and headed to a floating market, then on to see how rice paper and pop rice/corn is made. Back on the bus we stopped to visit a Cao Dai temple ( a mix of all good things about religion) and arrived back before lunchtime. An afternoon in an internet cafe was followed by a very expensive and not great meal in Lemongrass. Later that evening we went to Apocalypse Now which was a fun club, apart from all the old men on the lookout!! Chips at the Allez Boo Bar followed and taking the piss out of Darren because he found himself a lady boy!!

I woke 4 hours later and went to breakfast ( I did not want to miss it because it was free) before going back to bed.

I awoke again to learn of the tragic news that Charlie-Pa (my Grand-dad) passed away peacefully on January 3. I am so saddened by the news and felt I should have been at home with my family but that would be the last thing Charlie
