We arrived in Saigon at about 5.30 and after getting to our hotel and having the best croissants I have had outside of France. We went to the Cu Chi tunnels (1 and an half hours away). The Cu Chi tunnels were supply lines used in the American/Vietnam war. I could only manage 30 out of 100 metres of tunnels because it was so cramped. The bomb holes and methods of capture are also worth a look. Back in Saigon I had another croissant and went for a sightseeing walk encompassing the major attractions of Saigon. After supper I went to see Casino Royale and after went to a bar to meet a drunk Charlie and Helen for a beer and a chip butty!
