After breakfast we left our homestay and headed to a floating market, then on to see how rice paper and pop rice/corn is made. Back on the bus we stopped to visit a Cao Dai temple ( a mix of all good things about religion) and arrived back before lunchtime. An afternoon in an internet cafe was followed by a very expensive and not great meal in Lemongrass. Later that evening we went to Apocalypse Now which was a fun club, apart from all the old men on the lookout!...

We arrived in Saigon at about 5.30 and after getting to our hotel and having the best croissants I have had outside of France. We went to the Cu Chi tunnels (1 and an half hours away). The Cu Chi tunnels were supply lines used in the American/Vietnam war. I could only manage 30 out of 100 metres of tunnels because it was so cramped. The bomb holes and methods of capture are also worth a look. Back in Saigon I had another croissant and went for a sightseeing walk ...
