Part one
Once again I find I have to say sorry for the delay in the updates but lying by the pool is such hard work and we have been to exhausted to move very far.
We left Koh Phan Gan as scheduled and headed for Krtabi town, now for those who don't know this is on the other coast. Well it started with the mini bus over the mountain on a dirt road to get us to the harbour, then the ferry which is a really nice way to travel and then to what we have now called the sweat box. The sweat box is the mini bus that is sold as being fully air conditioned and they always seem to forget how it works. So 12 people and bags in one very small bus going at 100mph in a 30 zone and you get the picture.
Krabi Town
We arrived about 8.30pm in to the bus station and whilst there booked a nights accommodation which we had been told was very central (NOT). This very small guest house was a good 20 minutes walk to anything, no wonder they had no guests staying except us. The lady who ran it was really nice but you can't beat a good location. Well I moaned a lot until Andy B got cross and we started to look for something on the beach. That evening we still needed to eat so we hiked into town to find nothing open except a pizza restaurant so in we dived. After having our fill on the best pizza in Thailand we went to leave to find we had been locked in and the only way for us to get out was via the kitchen, so on we went, it was full of staff all female and they started to say hi and hello so we replied then one of them did a really loud wolf whistle and that then set them all off and we had to run otherwise they would have had us for there tea.
